Chapter Committees

Recruitment and Retention Committee (Alumni & Students) shall be responsible for recruiting new chapter members and performing other activities to help maintain membership and morale.  The committee will consult with The Hampton University Admissions Office, The National Student Recruitment Committee and local high schools in Baltimore City and Baltimore County students to attend Hampton University.  The committee will also maintain ties with current students from the local area.

Social Committee shall be responsible for planning and coordinating social activities outside of general chapter meetings and activities with the goal of strengthening relationships of chapter members.

Community Service Committee will formulate and execute service projects for the benefit of our community.  Shall develop and execute a program of awards recognizing chapter members work that uplift the community.  

Scholarship Committee  will develop and implement an annual fundraising and scholarship award process.  The committee will publicize and solicit applications and make awards based on the applications.  The committee will be responsible for distributing the scholarship(s) and ensuring the scholarship(s) are received.  

Media and Marketing Committee shall develop and maintain the chapter website, social media platforms and list serv.  The committee will develop strategies to market chapter events and activities.
