Derrick A. Burnett, Sr. has developed a career in Architectural Design, Construction, Real Estate Development and Project Management experiences, participating within various levels on all of the below mentioned components of Commercial, Municipal, State, Federal government, Healthcare, and International projects.

As a Project Architect with the Baltimore District Army Corps of Engineers for 12 years, Derrick has designed, managed, reviewed, and constructed many facilities within the Mid-Atlantic Region for the Baltimore Engineering District, interacting and communicating with various government, military departments, agencies and building officials, ensuring buildings were designed & constructed according to USACE – United States Army Corps of Engineers Design and Construction Standards.
As a Civil Engineering Officer (Captain) with the Maryland Air National Guard 235th Civil Engineering Flight for 14 years, Derrick has designed and managed the site development, building construction and Phase 1 environmental assessments, for many projects and various government agencies, within the continental United States and seven (7) different countries throughout Europe and South America.
As a Principal and Project Manager with the Design-Build company AEI–Design Build Group LLC. AEI is instrumental in the Design, Construction and Project management services needed to acquire and generate pre-construction cost estimates and permits for design and construction thru project commissioning. While executing the design, renovation, and rehabilitation specifications and criteria of various commercial, retail, educational, religious, recreational facilities, throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region.
Derrick has also provided professional Design & Constructability review services for the Army National Guard Headquarters, that adhered to the Army National Guard's proposed project specifications, and construction criteria. These projects resulted in implementing over (2) billion dollars in construction throughout the United States.
Derrick has specialized in assisting the Faith-based Communities in developing, renovating, and executing design and construction management services.
AEI has implemented the most energy efficient components using Renewable Energy Solutions and Value Engineering assessments, for sanctuary’s, banquet halls, childcare centers, roof replacements, solar energy
systems and solar farms

After matriculating at Hampton University, Harvin went on to earn his Master of Divinity from Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School in Rochester, New York and earned his Doctor of Ministry degree from Samford University’s Beeson Divinity School. Dr. Harvin also completed post-doctoral studies at Harvard Divinity School in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Dr. Harvin has served as an Adjunct Professor of Critical Thinking at Morgan State University since Spring, 2017. Moving with an apostolic anointing and academic prowess that aims to empower every generation to fulfill destined purpose, Dr. Harvin is honored to serve as the Vice Presiding Prelate of Covenant Fellowship Alliance (CFA), an interdenominational and international cohort of pastors and leaders. Ingrid Harris received her BS in Accounting from Hampton in 1999. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Government Financial Manager. As an active alum, she has supported the school as an officer of her reunion class and a member of the Charm City Pirates scholarship committee.

Ingrid has been an auditor for the federal government for 25 years and currently serves as an Audit Program Director for the U.S. Dept of Transportation Office of Inspector General. She previously performed financial and financial-related audits for the inspectors general of the U.S. Dept of Veterans Affairs, the Defense Information Systems Agency, and the U.S. Dept. of Defense. She also provides tax preparation services through her private practice.
Ingrid is an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, catching up with her book club, and supporting the sorority’s public service activities.
Marcus Pratt earned his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Hampton
University in 2003. Marcus has been a Technology Professional for 20
years where he has landed roles with General Electric, Verizon, KPMG and
Deloitte where he was engaged in large scale IT implementations domestically and
abroad.
Currently, he is a Senior Product Manager at
Marcus Pratt earned his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Hampton
University in 2003. Marcus has been a Technology Professional for 20
years where he has landed roles with General Electric, Verizon, KPMG and
Deloitte where he was engaged in large scale IT implementations domestically and
abroad.
Currently, he is a Senior Product Manager at Fannie Mae, where
he leads business and technology initiatives within the Mortgage Finance
industry that drive digital transformation and operational efficiencies.
As a diversity and inclusion advocate and due to his love for education,
Marcus chartered Math Matters, LLC in 2009, which is a boutique
educational firm that focuses on tutoring, mentoring and STEM evangelism
for elementary through high school students.
Marcus is a proud Brother of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated and a
member of the National Society of Black Engineers and the Black Product
Managers. He also enjoys serving in his church and the community, writing
and performing music, mentoring, spending time with family and traveling
abroad.
